How I Made 6 Months of Social Content in One Day Using Figma, Hopper HQ + ManyChat

6 months of social content. One day of work.

That's not a hype headline. That's what actually happened.

I built out 6 months of social content — 3 posts per day, across platforms — in a single focused work session. No content team. No agency. No more spending every Sunday night stressed about what to post tomorrow. Three tools: Figma, Hopper HQ, and ManyChat.

Here's the exact system.

Why consistency is a systems problem, not a creativity problem

You know you should be posting. The problem is the friction. Every post requires a decision — what to say, how it looks, when to post. Three posts a day, seven days a week is 63 micro-decisions per week just to stay consistent. No wonder it falls apart. The solution isn't more discipline. It's removing the decisions entirely.

Batch everything. Create in bulk. Schedule it all at once. Then use automation to make the algorithm work for you while you're doing actual client work. That's the system.

Step one: Figma

The move that makes this possible at scale is 3x5 frames in a single Figma file. Set up frames in a 3-column grid — each frame is one post. You can fit 15 posts on screen at standard zoom, enough to see your entire content grid at a glance.

Then take your portfolio work. I dropped 12 pieces of work into the file and cropped them into multiple formats and angles. One project becomes 4–6 unique posts. A full brand identity system becomes a week of content on its own: the logo reveal, the color palette, the typography, the pattern work, the mockups in context.

The cropping is the key insight. You're not creating new content — you're surfacing different facets of work you already did. One deliverable, many posts. That's how 12 projects becomes 6 months of content.

Set up a component system with your brand colors, typography, and recurring layout templates. Every post looks cohesive without designing each one from scratch. Swap out the image or text. Export. Done. Use a consistent naming convention when you export: platform_contenttype_number — for example, IG_portfolio_001. That structure will save you time in Hopper HQ.

Step two: Hopper HQ

Take your exported files and bulk upload them directly into Hopper HQ — up to 50 images and videos at once. Assign each post to a date, time, and platform. The visual grid calendar shows you exactly how your feed looks before anything goes live. Drag and drop to adjust.

Write your captions in one session. Same brain mode, all at once. Captions written in batches are tighter and more consistent than ones written daily when you're already distracted and depleted.

Hit schedule. Hopper HQ auto-posts at your specified times. You don't have to touch it again. Six months of content, running on its own.

The time math: manually posting 3 times a day takes 45–60 minutes daily — that's 25+ hours a month. Batching and bulk scheduling the same volume takes 4–6 hours total. You're buying back 20+ hours a month.

Step three: ManyChat

Scheduling content is half the system. The other half is making that content generate leads automatically. ManyChat is an official Meta business partner that lets you set up automated DM flows triggered by comments on your posts.

Post a piece of work — a case study reveal, a framework, a tip — and end the caption with something like: "Comment CASE STUDY to get my full process breakdown in your DMs." When someone comments that keyword, ManyChat automatically sends them a DM with your content, portfolio link, or lead magnet. No manual replies. No missed leads. The algorithm sees the comment activity and boosts your reach. ManyChat users see up to a 40% boost in engagement using keyword-triggered automations.

Three flows every designer should set up: a portfolio flow where a comment triggers a DM with your portfolio link and a one-line pitch; a lead magnet flow that delivers a freebie like a case study PDF or a framework PDF; and a discovery call flow where a comment on a specific post triggers a DM sequence that ends with your booking link. Set these up once. They run forever.

The full system

Figma: 3x5 frames, 12 pieces of existing work, cropped into 54+ unique posts. Add quote cards, tips, and process content to hit your volume. Export in bulk. Hopper HQ: bulk upload, assign to calendar slots, write captions in one session, schedule 6 months at once. ManyChat: keyword-triggered DM flows on your best posts, driving traffic to your portfolio, lead magnets, and booking page automatically.

One day of setup. Six months of content. Leads rolling in while you design. Build it.
